Hazardous substance storage container for water-hazardous media – thermally insulated for frost-free hazardous substance storage
The cold-insulated hazardous substance storage container for water-hazardous media reliably protects temperature-sensitive liquids from frost and low outdoor temperatures. As a thermally insulated hazardous substance container, it combines a robust steel construction with effective insulation and is suitable for water-hazardous liquids of GHS categories 1 to 4.
Walls, roof and doors are lined on the inside with 60 mm thick, non-combustible insulating material. A factory-fitted recirculating air heater supports frost-free hazardous substance storage. It is wired to the external control box and designed for 230 volts. The heater is not explosion-proof.
Zinc plated, profiled wall and roof panels made of sheet steel as well as reinforced roof and floor frame profiles ensure high stability. Weather-protected ventilation openings are located in the doors and the rear wall. Double doors with a safety lock allow convenient and controlled access.
Hot dip galvanised sump trays with a grate collect leaking liquids. All-round fluid guiding plates – except in the door area – support targeted retention. The grate can withstand a maximum load of 1000 kg/m² with an evenly distributed load.
Even open containers can be stored in the thermally insulated hazardous substance container. Opening, filling and emptying during storage are also possible. With optional shelving, the container can be used as a walk-in small container store. Crane eyes and compatibility with a stacker also enable the empty container to be moved flexibly for mobile, compliant outdoor storage of hazardous substances.
