Hazardous substance storage container for flammable media – thermally insulated for frost-free hazardous substance storage
The cold-insulated hazardous substance storage container for flammable media enables the frost-free outdoor storage of temperature-sensitive hazardous substances. As a thermally insulated hazardous substance container, it protects valuable media from the effects of frost and low temperatures and is suitable for the active or passive storage of flammable media of GHS categories 1–3.
Inside, the walls, roof and doors are lined with 60 mm thick, non-combustible insulating material. A factory-fitted, explosion-proof electric heater T3 supports active temperature control. In addition, the explosion-proof technical forced ventilation ensures the legally required fivefold air exchange. The electrical equipment is wired up to the external control box for 230 volts.
The robust construction consists of zinc plated, profiled sheet steel panels. Reinforced roof and floor frame profiles increase stability. Perimeter liquid guide plates – except in the door area – direct escaping media specifically to the hot dip galvanised sump tray. The grate can withstand loads of up to 1000 kg/m² with a distributed load.
For safe hazardous substance storage, the container has weather-protected ventilation openings as well as double doors with a safety lock. Open containers may also be stored and may be opened, filled and emptied during storage.
Crane eyes and the ability to be driven under with a stacker allow the empty container to be moved. With optional shelving (accessories), the thermally insulated hazardous substance container can also be used as a walk-in small container store for the frost-free, compliant and flexible outdoor storage of temperature-sensitive hazardous substances.
