Oil-Only absorbent sheeting mat PIG, light-weight model

The Oil-Only absorbent sheeting mat PIG in the light-weight model is designed for demanding leak and cleaning tasks. It reliably absorbs oil and oil-based liquids, while water is not absorbed. This makes the mat particularly suitable for production areas, workshops, machine environments, warehouses and for use on bodies of water.

The multi-layer mat made of 100 % polypropylene is durable, absorbent and resistant. Even when completely saturated, it does not tear or fray. The permanently bonded material does not fall apart and leaves no lint. This keeps the work area clean while the absorbed liquid is safely retained in the absorbent sheeting.

The light-weight model can be used economically for small cleaning jobs and operations. It can be used to cover vulnerable areas in order to absorb and contain splashes, spills and drip leaks at an early stage. The mat is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It remains buoyant on water and can therefore also be used to absorb oil contamination on the water surface.

Suitable liquids include engine oil, hydraulic oil, petrol, diesel, petroleum, acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene and xylene. The perforation across the width enables separation as required and facilitates adaptation to different application situations. With dimensions of 380 x 510 mm, the mat is handy and can be laid out quickly on affected surfaces. The mats are supplied in a practical dispenser box.
