The PROSTEP stepped drill bit set HSS-G TiAlN is a high-performance tool for precise drilling work in various materials. The 3-piece set combines a self-centring PROSTEP step tip with a durable TiAlN coating and enables clean drilling while ensuring high efficiency.

The special step tip geometry makes spot drilling easier and significantly reduces the required contact pressure. This allows for effortless work even during frequent drilling operations. Centre punching is not required even on pipes or rounded workpieces, as the drill bit reliably self-centres. This saves time and simplifies the workflow. In addition, the next larger step can be used for countersinking or deburring.

The titanium aluminium nitride coating (TiAlN) gives the tool high hot-hardness and oxidation resistance. Depending on the operating conditions, it enables a service life up to ten times longer or higher cutting speeds. At the same time, the helical flute geometry improves smooth running, ensures clean cutting results and contributes to a longer tool life. The 3-flat shank ensures secure power transmission and prevents the tool from slipping in the drill chuck.
