The countersink set HSS-Co 5% TiAlN is a high-quality tool for precise countersinking, counterboring and deburring work. The 6-piece set combines an innovative five-flute geometry with a wear-resistant TiAlN coating, thereby ensuring clean machining results as well as being particularly durable.

The five cutting edges distribute the cutting force evenly and enable low-vibration work. Due to the unequal spacing of the cutting edges, wear is distributed evenly, the feed rate is reduced and a consistently high machining quality is achieved. This produces precise countersinks without chatter marks. Even with handheld drills or drilling machines, countersinks up to a diameter of 40 mm can be executed precisely.

The titanium aluminium nitride coating (TiAlN) gives the tool high hot hardness and oxidation resistance. Depending on the application, it enables up to ten times longer service life or higher cutting speeds. This increases efficiency for frequent machining tasks and reduces tool changes.

The 3-surface shank ensures secure power transmission and prevents the tool from slipping in the drill chuck. This ensures the countersink remains reliably guided even under high loads. The set is suitable for stainless steel (HSS-Co 5 %), steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, cast iron and plastics, and offers a reliable solution for professional countersinking and deburring work in a wide variety of materials.
