Product description
  • Luggage lock that can be opened by security authorities using a TSA key without damaging it
  • Numerical code can be set individually
  • Lock body made of plastic
  • Shackle thickness 3 mm
  • Paracentric key profile for increased protection against manipulation
Suitable for locking luggage, e.g. bags, suitcases, boxes, rucksacks, etc. Especially for travel to the United States of America, a TSA-accepted lock is recommended on luggage so that an easier inspection of the luggage can be carried out by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) using a TSA key.

The TSA opens suitcases and other luggage, among other things, if something cannot be precisely identified during screening at the airport security check. For TSA locks, employees have master keys that fit these locks. This way, your suitcase lock is not damaged. And the suitcase can be locked again and again as normal. A lock without TSA key access may be broken open and thus destroyed by the authority even without prior consultation with the owner.

The 147TSA has an indicator that shows whether the lock was opened with a TSA key: if the red ring is visible, the lock was opened with a TSA key. If the ring cannot be seen, it has not been opened. To reset the indicator for a new journey, simply turn the shackle by 360°.

Operation without a key by means of a numerical code is particularly practical. The numerical code can be adjusted individually with 3 number wheels.
