HazMat chemical absorbent sheeting mat – acid-neutralising spill containment mat with colour indicator

The acid-neutralising HazMat chemical absorbent sheeting mat quickly absorbs spilled acids, contains them and simultaneously supports their neutralisation. Particularly practical: the fleece absorbent agent in warning colour pink changes its colour during the process, thereby making the neutralisation progress visible.

The high-performance spill containment mat immediately absorbs numerous aggressive liquids. These include sulphuric acid with a concentration of up to 98 %, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and phosphoric acid. 30% sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide can also be absorbed. The absorbent sheeting is not suitable for hydrofluoric acid.

An integrated colour indicator facilitates controlled handling of absorbed acids. During absorption and neutralisation, the fleece absorbent agent changes its colour and thereby indicates the level of absorption. Once neutralisation is complete, the original colour returns. This makes it easier to see when safe handling of the absorbent sheeting is possible.

The three-layer heavy-weight model combines high absorbency with excellent durability. Even when fully saturated, the spill containment mat remains stable, does not tear and does not fray. This also makes it suitable for demanding applications and more extensive cleaning work.

The fleece absorbent agent is supplied in a practical dispenser box. A perforation every 255 mm allows for dispensing as required. The chemical absorbent sheeting mat is particularly suitable for operating areas where batteries are charged, stored or handled, and there is a risk of leaking acids.
