HÅG Capisco 8106 office chair – HÅG upholstered backrest

The HÅG Capisco 8106 is a true icon of European office furniture design and has been among the most popular ergonomic office chairs for decades. Designed by the Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik in 1984, the Capisco pursues a revolutionary approach: instead of prescribing a rigid sitting posture, it promotes continuous movement and varied sitting positions. Its characteristic saddle seat enables an exceptionally wide range of postures – from low sitting positions to almost standing working postures – and thus supports active, balanced sitting throughout the entire working day.

The patented HÅG inBalance® technology ensures a gentle, balanced tilt function that keeps the body constantly in motion. The backward tilt tension can be individually adjusted, and the seat can be locked if required. For optimal adjustment to different users, the Capisco 8106 features seat height, seat depth and backrest height adjustment. The 200 mm gas lift is installed as standard and covers a height range of 47 – 65 cm. In addition, gas lift heights of 150 mm (41 – 54 cm) and 265 mm (56 – 79 cm) are available on request. The stable five-star base ensures a secure stand and supports ergonomic freedom of movement.

The chair is equipped with the high-quality cover fabric Cura Loop (Gabriel), which is characterised by its pleasant feel, modern look and high durability. Maintenance is straightforward: regular vacuuming and occasional cleaning with clean, lukewarm water keep the fabric permanently fresh.
