Product description
  • Fire protection/extinguishing agent in the event of ignition of lithium batteries (thermal runaway)
  • Absorbent in the event of electrolyte escape, filters burnt gas
  • Temperature resistant to more than 1000 °C, not conductive, non flammable, good thermal insulation
  • Reusable, environmentally friendly
Expanded glass granulate is foamed, recycled glass – 100% mineral.

Non flammable (certified non flammability, building material class A1, DIN 4102).

Extinguishing effect due to suffocation and isolation of the source of the fire.
Melts at high temperatures – absorbs heats in the form of melt energy.
Creates a shield around the battery housing – prevents a reaction with oxygen.
