The housing and wheel are made from high-quality plastic. The non-marking soft running surface consists of thermoplastic elastomer.

Technology + Design

The table extension castor is recessed into a bore hole on the underside of the table leg and allows very heavy, solid extension tables to be extended and retracted quickly and easily, without being visually dominant.

Application: By slightly lifting the table, the castor is pressed out of its housing by a spring mechanism and locks into place, and the tabletop can be extended on the moving table legs without much effort. As soon as the table has reached the desired position, the castor locks back into place with a slight pressure on the tabletop – the table is now stable, the castor is retracted and no longer visible.

If the table is to be retracted, simply lift the top slightly; the castor is ready for use again and the table legs are mobile. After retracting, the table is brought back into a stable position, again with a slight pressure on the tabletop. The table extension castor is equipped with a soft wheel and thus protects even sensitive floor surfaces such as parquet or laminate from dents, scratches and marks during movement.
