Zinc-plated steel flat tray – robust sump tray for reliable surface protection

The zinc-plated steel flat tray provides effective surface protection when working with liquids and supports the safe design of storage, handling and filling areas. Thanks to its modular design and resilient steel construction, the sump tray is suitable for numerous industrial applications.

Manufactured from 3 mm thick sheet steel, the sump tray meets the requirements of the Water Resources Act (WHG) and helps to safely retain escaping liquids. It is suitable for flammable liquids of GHS categories 1 – 3 as well as for liquids hazardous to water of GHS categories 1 – 4. As a result, the surface protection supports compliance with operational safety and environmental protection requirements.

The removable, heavy-duty grates are hot dip galvanised and enable convenient use in daily operation. At the same time, they make cleaning and maintenance of the sump tray easier. Due to the zinc plating, the construction has high corrosion protection and is designed for long-term use in demanding environments.

The elements can be combined with each other as desired and thus allow individual adaptation to existing working and storage areas. The distance between the elements is 40 mm in each case. The sump tray can also be driven on with pallet trucks and stackers (note max. load and wheel load), allowing materials and empties to be moved efficiently.

The surface protection is particularly suitable for collecting leaks, splashes and drips during the transfer, transport, handling or storage of containers and empties, and offers an economical solution for preventive liquid protection.

Areas of application
For lining empties storage areas and transport routes, during transformer maintenance, and as splash and leak protection.
Low profile sump trays with heavy duty grates are available for higher wheel loads. Please enquire.
Versions with 210 litre sump capacity are suitable for the storage of 200 litre drums.
