The cable test placard with a two digit year is generally used to indicate that a test of electrical systems and equipment was carried out in a specific year, and that they comply with the applicable standards and regulations. The use of a two digit year on the placard makes it easy to identify the year in which the test was carried out. The sticker is usually attached to a cable or wire to indicate that the electrical system has been successfully tested and that it complies with the legal requirements.
