Drum tong – flexible transport device for safe drum handling
The drum tong enables efficient drum handling due to simple one-man operation and is suitable for use with a stacker or crane. As a versatile transport device, it supports the safe transport of upright drums in warehouses, production and logistics.
The zinc plated surface reliably protects the drum tong from corrosion and ensures high resistance in daily use. The adjustable gripping range enables the safe lifting of metal drums with rolling hoops or ribs as well as L-ring plastic drums. With a max. load of up to 250 kg, the transport device is suitable for numerous internal transport tasks. The integrated suspension with eyelet allows use on a crane, while the stacker pocket with an internal dimension of 185 x 60 mm enables a quick change to stacker operation.
Drum handling is significantly simplified by one-man operation and contributes to an efficient material flow. The drum tong enables the safe gripping and moving of upright drums without having to use complex auxiliary tools. This allows transport routes to be designed economically and work processes to be accelerated. As a robust transport device, the drum tong supports the safe handling of different drum types and can be flexibly integrated into existing logistics and production processes. The stable construction ensures reliable use even with regular strain in daily operations.
