A very popular colleague: big mouth but open to anything. And when they're loaded, they let out everything in one go what's weighing them down – that's right, bottom emptying skips are indispensable for collecting and recycling waste.
While, at first glance, they look like rough contemporaries, their trick is in their versatility, combined with reliable and clever operation. Hinged bottom skips are middle steel containers with smooth walls or mesh for collecting, storing, providing and transporting all kinds of bulk materials that occur in a company: cardboard, glass, metal, wood. Once they are full, a crane or a stacker lifts them up by the series of eyelets attached at the top and transports them to be emptied. This is done quite simply by unlocking the bottom plate by pulling a cable from the driver's cab – in contrast to with tilting skips or dispensing hoppers, for example – in less than a second. And exactly vertical into a large container, tipper or pit. Practical: the flap then closes automatically again when placed on a pallet or the ground.
The robust hinged bottom skips from KAISER+KRAFT are made of hot dip galvanised steel painted in various RAL colours. We supply models for volumes between 0.5 and 2 cubic metres, which corresponds to a max. load between 1,000 and 2,000 kilos. The versions for heavy loads have two bottom flaps. And for all types, it's ''Safety first''. The securing device with a strong steel chain protects against unintentional slipping and tilting. Regardless of the max. load, four hinged bottom skips can be stacked on top of each other – unless they have wheels: if needed, swivel and fixed castors can also be fitted to these all rounders.
On request, hinged bottom skips can be supplied with a lid, for use outdoors or to make sure that recycled waste is kept separated when collected, for example. Their versatility make these practical multi-purpose containers the most popular attachments for stackers. You're also certain to find a model for your requirements in our range.
