Working platforms refer to lifting equipment and devices that are used as a standing surface for personnel who are performing repair and maintenance work, and as a storage space for materials. In contrast to cherry pickers, they do not feature a drive of their own to level them. They can be used as an alternative to a scaffold, and in contrast to these, are mobile. Working platforms feature wheels with stops on the bottom, making them quick and easy to move. There are four main groups of working platforms: working platforms for lorries, trailer working platforms, self-propelled working platforms and scissor lift working platforms. Self-moving propelled platforms are equipped with either an electric drive, a diesel drive, or a battery. They are also available as add-on models for other machines, such as forklifts or telescopic stackers.
Professional working platforms for use in the company
A variety of professional working platforms from the performance brand EUROKRAFT can also be found in our webshop. They feature high quality powder coating and are equipped with forklift pockets to allow a forklift truck to lift them up. Furthermore, the models on offer feature protective railings, locking bolts to prevent any slip, and an anti-slip standing surface. Our well-engineered working platforms allow safe and comfortable work at elevated work sites, and can be attached to a forklift truck quickly and without any great effort. A safety lock prevents the door from being opened unintentionally. A number of models also feature a practical tool tray. Delivery of narrow models, or models suitable for transport by crane, is also possible upon request, as well as country-specific versions. For example, British or Austrian versions are available. The product range maintained by KAISER+KRAFT also includes a folding working platform.
