The ABUS discus lock is a special form of padlock that comes with specific advantages. The shape of the discus locks effectively prevents the most common methods of over-twisting. The padlock has been designed to feature a small shackle opening that provides barely any space for attempts to break the shackle.

Because the main component is stainless steel, the discus lock is particularly suitable for use in situations in which security and corrosion protection are required.
The ABUS Diskus® can be used to lock trucks, doors, gates, barns, cellars, sheds etc.
Ideal for severe weather conditions (e.g. at sea and in harbours, for securing items to vehicles and boats outdoors).
