The trend to increasingly large glass surfaces in architecture and the increasing availability of triple pane thermal insulation glass is presenting new challenges for workmen and installers: elements which two persons used to be able to carry are meanwhile so heavy that they are barely able to be transported through the workshop or across the construction site by hand.

A Liftmaster now provides an innovative handling and installation aid that allows elements weighing up to 180 kg, like panes of glass, window elements or metal plates or stone slabs, to be moved easily and safely – and this by just one person.

The manual lifting mechanism is operated without an electric pump and can be used everywhere. A dual circuit system, reserve tanks, low pressure indicator and an optical vacuum loss display provide the requisite safety.
