Conveyor rollers represent the most important components of a roller conveyor. And because a conveyor roller isn't simply a conveyor roller, the design and dimensions of these rollers are decisive for uninterrupted conveyance of your goods to be moved. Before choosing a model, you should check how heavy, wide and high your goods for conveyance are. If the conveyor rollers are exposed to extreme temperatures, moisture or chemical substances, then the material is also important: choose from stainless steel conveyor rollers, conveyor rollers with a PVC coating, plastic conveyor rollers or a zinc plated version. By the way: to ensure uninterrupted conveying processes, there should always be three conveyor rollers below the goods being transported. This ensures the approved maximum load on each roller is not exceeded. This is also why the interval between the conveyor rollers is important. When the bottom side is soft, then the starting resistance may result in the goods for transport becoming stuck: in this case, you should install the conveyor rollers much closer to each other than for goods for transport with hard and flat bottom sides.
