This water-based liquid corrosion inhibitor is used wherever the IBS spray cleaner WAS 10.500 is used and where, in individual cases, additional corrosion protection is required. Although WAS 10.500 already offers sufficient protection in over 99% of applications, a targeted supplement may be useful for particularly rust-sensitive materials such as grey cast iron or low-alloy steels.
The additive is dosed as a liquid concentrate, distributes evenly in the cleaning bath and can be easily integrated into existing processes. The gentle on materials, silicate-free formulation is also suitable for sensitive surfaces, including painted surfaces, brass, copper, zinc, nickel, chromium, aluminium and plastics.
The additional corrosion protection is environmentally friendly and user-friendly and helps industrial customers to reliably protect even critical components from corrosion after cleaning.
