Crash protection bollard 170B – Boplan height 1200 mm

Protection from impacts: the BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B crash protection bollard provides protection for critical areas where there is an increased risk of impacts occurring. Whether you need protection for gates, entrances, corners, building facades, loading ramps or machinery, the BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B crash protection bollard stops forklift trucks in the event of a collision and effectively minimises collision damage. It is made of Extrilene®, a high quality polymer that can withstand repeated impacts. The BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B crash protection bollard is a durable safety product that has an impact resistance of 7.5 kJ. This means that it can stop a loaded forklift truck weighing 3.8 tonnes at a speed of 7.2 km/h at an impact angle of 90°.

The BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B features an optimised base plate with a cover piece that increases impact resistance. The Base Defender protects the screws that anchor the round base plate to the floor. This recyclable rubber sleeve makes it physically impossible to drive over the base plate and damage the screws.

Choose between different eyecatching colours (yellow and black), with or without reflective strips, and adapt your crash protection to your individual needs for optimum visibility. Should an impact nonetheless occur, the material yields upon impact and then returns to its original shape. This makes it easier to avoid damage and repair costs.
